Huey Meaux was released, after spending twelve years in prison, in 2009. He was then placed on parole and forced to wear an ankle monitor. He was anything but sad, and remained his own inimitable self, living quietly outside of Houston in the small town of Winnie, Texas. Sad, but from what I understand the latter years of his life were a sad, incarcerated loss. W.
