About Me
IN VINYL VERITAS
This page is dedicated to the poor, neglected "B" sides of all these 45s I have. Let's listen to 'em together...
The very nature of the tracks we put up here is that they are obscure, and are transferred from my original scratched-up vinyl records to the computer. They may never be re-issued on a CD. If they are, you should buy them... they'll sure sound a whole lot better!
Be nice.Previous Posts

I am so SAD to hear about Eddie Bo! First Snooks, now Eddie. What at tragic death before the year's Ponderosa Stomp.
I hear ya, Old Man. Things just won't be the same...
I just put the flip of this monster record up over on The A Side.
He will never be replaced.
Red, the guitarist on "Oh, Oh" was Edgar Blanchard, according to the MCA CD comp, Chess New Orleans. Drummer's Hungry Williams, with Roland Cook on bass. Now, back trying to get MY post done......
Wow, Dan! So incredible, man. Talk about under-appreciated!
...at least he was my first guess! Good things come to those who wait, bro. I'm sure the HOTG post will just sum it all up.
Thanks.
When our high energy punk rocknroll band was touring a few years ago we ran into Eddie Bo and his band a gas station/truck stop near the Dutch/German border and hung out for a little bit. Some of the guys in his band said they didn't have a home anymore after the Katrina disaster.
R.I.P.
