BENEFIT for SKIP PITTS

SKIP PITTS FUND-RAISER

Hosted by Royal Studios
and a group of Skip's friends and fellow musicians.

Best known for his "wah-wah" guitar style he debuted on Isaac Hayes' "Theme from Shaft," beloved musician Skip Pitts is now at home with hospice care in what is likely the final stages of cancer. This benefit is to assist with his medical bills and final arrangements.

  • When: Monday, April 23, 6:00-9:00pm
  • Where: Stax Museum of American Soul Music
  • Price: $20, plus additional donations accepted
  • Performers include: The Bo-Keys, Elmo & the Shades, Susan Marshall, A 440, Barbara Blue, Al Kapone,and Kirk Whalum.
